THE BARGE, LEIGH ON SEA, ESSEX

Our first EPIC investigation, we were on an old Dutch barge that was reputed to be haunted that's all we knew about it. Lots of phenomena were picked up throughout the evening. The energy between the EPIC team looked like we were going to be successful in attracting any spirit energy.

The evening started off quietly with small tapping and light anomilies. Whilst sitting in the dark, a massive orb was seen to float along towards the bar area. We took photographs of the area. On further study of the photographs we had bagged our first spirit figure. A hooded man in a cloak can clearly be seen!

We then interacted with two children who delighted in fluctuating the temperature with noticeable differences.
We then decided to leave this area and go up on top deck as we kept hearing loud bangs from that area.
Jay turned the power of her camcorder off and left it on the table by the bar, near to where we saw the hooded figure. We all then left the room.

During the evening, a cue was lifted from its bracket whilst we stood in front of it. Many orbs and unexplainable tapping were experienced during our visit. This evening was a very gentle introduction into investigations with enough unexplainable activity to keep us interested.

The best part of this evening though was yet to come!
The following day Jay had been viewing the camcorder footage from the evening.

Our conversation can be heard whilst interacting with the two children. We then decide to leave the room and the camcorder is turned off. You can then hear the camcorder TURN ITSELF ON AGAIN after we have left the room. You can then hear someone bustling around the area and glasses clinking. After a few seconds of this bustling around you can then hear heavy footsteps crunching along gravel! This is on a barge on the estuary! The camcorder then turns itself off again.
The footage is amazing and everyone who was on the investigation stayed in the group, no one was unaccounted for and there was no entry to anyone coming onto the barge.
This footage has no rational explanation and I firmly believe is a paranormal event.
